CJC-1295 with DAC

Description

Overview

CJC-1295 with DAC is a modified analog of GHRH(1-29) (Sermorelin) with four amino acid substitutions for stability against proteolysis and a maleimidopropionic acid (DAC, Drug Affinity Complex) linker. The DAC group reacts with cysteine 34 of circulating serum albumin to form a covalent bond, extending the peptide’s half-life from minutes to several days.

Research Background

CJC-1295 with DAC has been investigated in research on the somatotropic axis as a tool for studying sustained, rather than pulsatile, GHRH receptor activation. It contrasts with short-acting GHRH analogs such as Sermorelin.
