Overview:
Bronchogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu, AEDL) developed within the Khavinson peptide bioregulator program and studied for its proposed effects on bronchial epithelial tissue.
Description
Overview
Bronchogen is a short tetrapeptide composed of alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and leucine (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu, AEDL). It was developed within the Russian peptide bioregulator research program by Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.
Research Background
Bronchogen has been studied in research on respiratory tissue biology, bronchial epithelial cell function, and age-related changes in lung tissue. It is part of the broader category of tissue-specific bioregulators that includes Pinealon, Vilon, Cardiogen, and others.
Storage & Handling
Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within recommended timeframes. Handle under sterile laboratory conditions and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
