Overview

AOD9604 (Anti-Obesity Drug 9604) is a 16–amino acid synthetic peptide based on the C-terminal region of human growth hormone, with a tyrosine added at the N-terminus for stability. It was developed by Frank Ng and colleagues at Monash University.

Research Background

AOD9604 has been studied in research on adipocyte metabolism, lipolysis, and lipogenesis. It was developed specifically to isolate the lipolytic activity of GH from its broader anabolic and IGF-1-driven effects.
