Overview

TB-500 is a synthetic 17–amino acid fragment derived from Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4), a naturally occurring regenerative peptide found in nearly all human and animal cells. The fragment retains the active region of TB4 responsible for actin-binding and cellular regulation activity.

Research Background

TB-500 has been investigated in preclinical models of soft tissue, tendon, ligament, skin, and corneal repair. Research has focused on its role in cell migration, blood vessel formation, and modulation of inflammation through actin-cytoskeleton dynamics.
