Description

Overview

PNC-27 is a 32–amino acid chimeric peptide composed of two functional regions: residues 12–26 of the p53 transactivation domain, which contains the HDM-2 binding motif, fused to a membrane-residency penetratin-like sequence at the C-terminus.

Research Background

PNC-27 has been studied in oncology research focused on selective targeting of cancer cells. Published studies report its activity on a range of solid-tumor lines and certain leukemia models that express HDM-2 in their plasma membrane.

Storage & Handling

Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within recommended timeframes. Handle under sterile laboratory conditions and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
