Description

Overview

SNAP-8 is an N-terminally acetylated octapeptide (Ac-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala-Asp) developed as a cosmeceutical neuropeptide. It is a sequence-extended analog of the better-known hexapeptide Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3/8), with two additional residues (Ala-Asp) for enhanced activity at the SNARE complex.

Research Background

SNAP-8 has been investigated in topical and in vitro research on cosmetic peptide pharmacology, particularly for studies on dynamic-wrinkle reduction and the SNARE complex pathway.

Storage & Handling

Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within recommended timeframes. Handle under sterile laboratory conditions and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
