Overview

GHK-Cu is the copper(II)-bound complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. It occurs naturally in human plasma at levels that decline with age and has been characterized as a multi-functional signaling peptide.

Research Background

GHK-Cu is widely investigated in dermal research, wound healing models, and gene-expression studies. It has been reported to modulate hundreds of genes involved in extracellular matrix remodeling, antioxidant defense, and regulation of inflammation.

Storage & Handling

Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within recommended timeframes. Handle under sterile laboratory conditions and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
