Overview:
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule pan-agonist of the estrogen-related receptors (ERRα, ERRβ, ERRγ) studied as a pharmacological exercise mimetic.
Description
Overview
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule compound developed at Saint Louis University as an agonist of the estrogen-related receptor (ERR) family of orphan nuclear receptors. It activates all three ERR isoforms with preferential potency at ERRα (EC50 ≈ 98 nM), classifying it as a pan-ERR agonist.
Research Background
SLU-PP-332 has been studied in research on metabolic regulation, exercise mimetics, cardiac function, and mitochondrial biology. Animal model studies have reported induction of an aerobic exercise gene-expression program, increased exercise endurance, and protective effects in heart-failure models.
Storage & Handling
Store lyophilized peptide at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within recommended timeframes. Handle under sterile laboratory conditions and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
